One of the best things I learned in Flow class was how to reach for relief when I feel terrible.
Here's how it works.
Bad feelings always come from bad thoughts.
And we can choose to think better thoughts. We can always choose our thoughts – even if the circumstance is dire, even if we are oppressed.
What we need to do is reach for relief.
"Reach for a better feeling thought," is what Jess Lively says.
Everything begins with what we choose to think.
Relief is always available. (And when it's just too hard to think better thoughts, take a cue from my puppy, Holly...you can always reset with sleep. Then start again...)
